“Contested leadership” in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America: The Role of Regional Powers, Secondary Powers and the Global Powers in Democratization

On 24 January 2024, a delegate of the US Embassy in Bangladesh met Kazi Mohammad Mahbobor Rahman (Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Dhaka) at his office and later attended his lecture on “Contested leadership” in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America: The Role of Regional Powers, Secondary Powers and the Global Powers in Democratization. The team attended the session under the leadership of Bren Flanigan, the Acting Counsellor for Public Diplomacy.
