Short Biography
Mohammad Rashed Alam Bhuiyan is a faculty member of Political Science at the University of Dhaka since February 18th, 2013. His expertise lies in Political Economy, International Trade and Finance, studying various forms of Internal and International Migration, Adaptation to Climate Change, Sustainable and Inclusive Urban Development, Migrants’ rights and Well-being. Previously, he served RMMRU as a Research Associate. He has worked across several research projects in collaboration with the University of Exeter, Sussex, Southampton and other research units, primarily focused on International Labour Migration, Internal Migration (Climate-Induced Migration & Displacement), Adaptation to Climate Change, Sustainable Cities and Inclusive Urban Development.
